Case Management Services
A support and advocacy service that connects people with disabilities to resources within the community. Targeted case management provides support to eligible persons by developing, linking, coordinating, and monitoring services, supports, and resources.
Individual case managers will assist with funding resources, applications, and community supports such as: Information and referral, Assessments, Person Centered Support Service Planning (PCSP) and coordination, Finding and securing financial assistance for necessary services and/or technologies, Facilitating community inclusion, and Discharge planning.

Employment Services
The focus of Goodwill Industries is employment training for people with disabilities and other barriers to employment. Employment assistance through our programs focus on transferable work skills and attributes that every employer wants each worker to have.
These skills include: Reliability and Dependability, Communication Skills, Team-work Skills, Critical Thinking Skills, Conflict Resolution Skills.
Organizational Employment
This program provides a real work situation within our plant, with persons receiving paychecks depending on their production. This work setting benefits each person by allowing them to work on such things as accepting responsibility, getting along with co-workers, following instructions, establishing a work ethic and gaining self confidence. Each client is allowed to progress at their own pace, preparing them for possible transition to Community Employment.
Community Employment
Individuals in this program work in community based jobs with the support of an Employment Training Specialist. Assistance with all aspects of the job is provided until all parties involved feel that the person served can function on their own.
Education Program
GED preparation and Certification
Time to get serious about life and school? Goodwill Industries offers adults opportunities to reach their educational and employment goals.
This program provides assistance with GED completion and/or advanced college degree training to motivated, goal-oriented adults. Highly skilled and experienced, state-certified staff with degrees in teaching and counseling give you the tools you need to overcome barriers and reach life goals. We offer financial assistance with expenses such as childcare and transportation and flexible scheduling to those who need to work while attending school. We can also assist with finding career oriented employment in your chosen field while you are going to school. Through a collaboration with Wichita Area Technical College we are able to offer a variety of learning situations. For more details about our education program, click here.

Adult Literacy
More than 65,000 adults in our Wichita metropolitan area are considered functionally illiterate, unable to read above the 4th grade level. Goodwill Industries provides adult literacy tutoring, matching volunteer tutors with adults who want to learn to read. The program is housed at our Education and Training Center at 1220 E. 1st St. in Wichita. The program provides one-on-one tutoring; Basic reading, writing, math and comprehension; GED preparation; Volunteer tutor training.
