These skills include: Reliability and Dependability, Communication Skills, Team-work Skills, Critical Thinking Skills, Conflict Resolution Skills.
This program provides a real work situation within our plant, with persons receiving paychecks depending on their production. This work setting benefits each person by allowing them to work on such things as accepting responsibility, getting along with co-workers, following instructions, establishing a work ethic and gaining self confidence. Each client is allowed to progress at their own pace, preparing them for possible transition to Community Employment.
Individuals in this program work in community based jobs with the support of an Employment Training Specialist. Assistance with all aspects of the job is provided until all parties involved feel that the person served can function on their own.
